As a Customer Engineer, you will work with

technical Sales teams as an enterprise hybrid cloud subject matter expert to differentiate and paint the goal of Google Cloud to our customers. You will help prospective customers and partners understand Google Cloud, explain technical features, help customers design architectures, engage in proof-of-concepts, and troubleshoot potential roadblocks.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$177,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 6 years of experience in a technical sales engineering role in security or cloud native environments. Experience in cybersecurity (e. g. threat detection, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, or identity and access management systems). Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

Certification in the Cloud or Security industry. Experience in implementing security solutions for enterprises (e. g. threat detection and hunting, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, or identity and access management systems). Knowledge of product and solution market trends in the cybersecurity industry (e. g. ransomware, attack frameworks, zero trust, etc. ). Ability to speak publicly and deliver technical presentations. Excellent problem-solving, written/verbal communication, presentation, and active listening skills.

- Work with customers to resolve existing and potential technical security and compliance obstacles to adoption and consumption of Google Cloud services. - Enhance knowledge and drive technical security and compliance enablement internally at Google Cloud, and create best practice for our customers. Serve as a public advocate of Google Cloud and cloud computing at conferences, industry training, and related events. - Support Google Cloud Security opportunities and relationships, own technical aspects of solutions, deliver technical presentations, product and solution briefings, proofs-of-concepts and demos to customers, partners, and stakeholders.

- Work cross-functionally as a customer advocate to provide insights and contribute to programs in areas of security, privacy, and regulatory compliance with internal teams (e. g.
