Position Purpose : Responsible for planning, coordination, performance of design, and analysis of engineering data supporting the development and evolution of Gulfstream Reliability products and related issues regardless of complexity.

Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: Responsible for coordinating, planning, and execution of development of new aircraft reliability requirements in the associated Design Specification and Statement of Work (SOW) for new component(s)/system(s). Provide
authoritative technical decisions and recommendations for Reliability Program products on behalf of Gulfstream. Offer reliability program technical recommendations on behalf of Gulfstream.
Provide expert-level knowledge and guidance in calculating aircraft reliability performance parameters such as, Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time Between Unscheduled Removals (MTBUR) as well as other advanced techniques in support of complex reliability projects. Lead the development and specification of new aircraft reliability requirements in the associated Design Specification and Statement of Work (SOW) for new component(s)/system(s). Lead the review of supplier Request for Proposal
responses for various aircraft component(s)/system(s and associated supplier review and critique efforts.
Actively seek and lead the development of innovative principles and ideas for all reliability associated processes. Mentors other team members concerning Reliability processes and procedures. Provide input and assist manager in development of departmental budget. Assist manager in developing employee goals and delivering performance reviews. Perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements: Demonstrated, expert-level knowledge of statistical analysis techniques such Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), System Safety Analysis (SSA), Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time Between Unscheduled Removals (MTBUR), FRACAS, Reliability Predictions, FMEAs, various test procedures and reports, and related processes to include Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT), Accelerated Design of Experiment, Statistical Testing, Weibull Analysis, and Accelerated Life Test.
