Wells Fargo Bank N. A. seeks a Principal Engineer in Atlanta, GA. Job Role and Responsibility: Wells Fargo Bank, N. A. is hiring a Principal Engineer to serve as a key tech lead on Digital Transfer and Payments initiatives as well as Online Payment Services. Build highly scalable, distributed,
event-driven, fault-tolerant, API-based enterprise applications in a scaled agile ecosystem. Provide technical direction to product owners, business analysts, application developers and performance engineers ensuring end state application architecture adheres to software as a service 12 factor best practices.
Evangelize and promote adoption of sound engineering principles like test and behavior driven development in a scaled agile ecosystem and effectively measure success by defining and reviewing KPIs. Execute roadmaps and strategies for converting legacy monolithic applications to cloud native API based services enabling integrations with cross channel internal and external applications.
Identify, classify, and prioritize risks; and implement robust plans for risk mitigation.
Review current and predicted system performance trends based on anticipated increase in application volume and make recommendations on steps to take to meet the SLA targets. Build cross channel applications and micro services using distributed domain driven design patterns and manage application performance, resiliency, and monitoring. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.
