What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be… Serve as
technical subject matter expert for the product line Work with product managers, sales, and customers to determine product needs and refine into technical specifications Engage with product managers, R&D, and product development teams to help define and execute the product line roadmap Own product design and documentation (component selection, material specifications, bills of material, drawings, technical sales literature, etc) and ensure manufacturing documentation (work instructions, labor routing) is complete and accurate Create and process engineering change requests (ECO/ECR) and temporary design deviations to document changes to product design and documentation Evolve the product line
by championing (or supporting) new product development (stage gate process) and continuous improvement projects to improve product performance, reduce cost, improve manufacturability, improve quality, etc Ensure design outputs designed and solutions employed (for components, assemblies, final products) meet all required internal and external specifications, industry codes and regulations (e.
