Key Responsibilities: NPI projects Design develop, and document (using 3D CAD software) new liquid cooling system and cable management system

for an electric vehicle charger Support additional engineering activities related to the production of an electric vehicle charger Fabricate and assemble prototype components and modules Develop design verification test methods Conduct environmental and/or regulatory testing Write test reports Item registrations in PDM and ERP systems including the creation of configuration matrices, Bo Ms, ERs and ECOs Assist with design reviews Sustaining work Design develop, and document (using 3D CAD software) improvements to existing components and modules Fabricate and assemble prototype components and modules Develop design verification test methods Conduct environmental and/or regulatory testing Write test reports Item registrations in PDM and ERP systems including the creation of configuration matrices, Bo Ms, ERs and ECOs Support the operations team in the manufacture and shipment Support field service teams in troubleshooting issues at customer sites Support customer service teams in response to customer inquiries Candidate Experience and Qualification: BS in an engineering discipline (preferably mechanical engineering) or relevant work experience Knowledge of: Fabricated and formed sheet metal parts Fluid handling components made from cast metal (sand cast and die cast aluminum and grey iron) Injection molded plastic and elastomeric parts Machined aluminum, steel and plastic parts Fluid handling systems Solid Works CAD system Beneficial But Not Required: Knowledge of electric vehicle chargers Knowledge with cooling systems, especially with regards to electric vehicle chargers Proficiency in Solid Works CAD system Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word and Power Point) Experience working in a manufacturing environment Experience working in experimental/machine shops Experience working on cross-functional design teams Essential Functions: Customer-centric mindset Technology leadership mindset Ability to work both individually and in a team Ability to work with limited direction to attain project goals according to set timelines Work Arrangement : Hybrid We consider several job-related, non-discriminatory factors when determining the pay rate for a position, including, but not limited to, the position’s responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, a candidate’s education/training, the position’s location, and the key skills needed for the position.
