The US base salary range for this full-time position is $119,000-$175,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. 3 years of experience in electrical/wireless engineering. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or Ph D in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. Experience in RF test setup and common lab equipment such as a spectrum analyzer.
Experience in Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi, UWB, Cellular technology and protocol. Experience in scripting (e. g. Python, Shell, C/C , Java). Experience in wireless communication with an understanding of wireless link budget analysis, system KPI definition, and performance/power optimization techniques. Knowledge of other subsystems such as antenna, RF, with the ability to perform system analysis and trade-off. - Work on bluetooth subsystem on Pixel devices. - Help define system performance and power consumption Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by doing system level analysis and budgeting.
- Perform optimization and tuning to meet the performance power KPIs in addition to performing and monitoring performance and power regression via automation tests. - Work with cross-functional teams to analyze and debug issues from users, and drive the fix implementation. - Help on new bluetooth technologies and the implementation on devices to improve user experience.
