Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in photonics or compound semiconductor devices; or 6 years of experience with a Master's degree. Preferred qualifications: Ph D in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience in compound semiconductor device and process development. Experience in semiconductor device design and layout. Experience in the design, layout, and development of monolithically integrated photonic devices and processes, including silicon photonics.
- Design and layout micro-LED display panels along with inline test structures to support process control and drive in-depth device characterization, understanding, and optimization. - Develop and establish micro-LED display design and layout process and environment with script-based parameterized modular design library and design automation capabilities. - Establish a system of design rules with automated design rule check capabilities and procedures that support design for manufacturing.
- Develop automated interface and capabilities from design and layout to electrical test, metrology, process modeling, and other engineering functions. - Characterize, analyze, and model devices and device parameters to advance understanding of device metrics and device operation.
