AND DUTIES: Provides equipment operating parameters and supports accessory selection. Performs necessary engineering calculations to support product selection and recommendations. On occasion may assist in training and sales calls at the factory.
On occasion may assist in testing and review of new products. Stays current on platform products, competitor product offerings and other HVAC products to understand and explain key selling points and be able to help field engineering staff determine best match of equipment for optimum efficiency and system reliability; provides specification assistance. Advocates energy efficiency and system affordability as key drivers of the daily business.
Maintains knowledge of plant's processes, techniques, tools, materials, machines and equipment. Maintains knowledge of industry trends, developments, and markets.
Models Watts business goals for quality and customer focus by successfully fulfilling the role of a functional team member. Models Watts business philosophy by demonstrating respect for coworkers on a daily basis. Performs other related duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS/BE degree in Engineering; Chemical, Mechanical, Facilities and similar preferred. Minimum 1 years' experience in an engineering field, particularly in product development and application. Internships & projects may be considered equivalent
upon review. Salary Range for this position is $70K - 78K depending on experience.
