Lead Field Service Engineer About the role: The Lead Field Service Engineer will be responsible for performing customer support, on-site installation, and service and repair of complex Laser and light-based medical equipment.
Additional responsibility (Regional FSE Lead) will be 40% of this position and will include supporting manager and region with broader business needs, in addition to mentoring junior techs/engineers. Field Service engineers work on problems of diverse scope. Exercises judgment within defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Fully support the Quality Policy by building quality into all aspects of the incumbent's work and by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements (including being current on all training requirements for the incumbent's position and documenting that training). System installation. Preventative
and corrective maintenance. Equipment upgrades. Electronic troubleshooting & component replacement.
In-servicing/training biomedical and medical personnel. Presenting Service Program options and value proposition. Reporting of field activities. Mentoring colleagues and special projects as assigned. Mentor and Development responsibility for Tech 1 or 2 resources including coaching, scheduling, and directing daily activities (up to 30%) Support of Field Service Manager to assist with broader regional needs– providing 1st line coverage for Region during manager absence, overseeing escalated issues, customer meetings, service sales presentations, FSE audits and coaching (10-20%) Required qualifications: 10 years medical laser technician experience and/or equivalent Minimum 10 years field service technician experience with relevant complexity of technology and regulatory environment (in lieu of above) Demonstrated leadership initiative Must have effective communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with customers Pay Transparency The anticipated annualized base pay range this full-time position working at this location will be from [$73,944 - $125,736], plus variable compensation, i.
