Requisition ID: 71873 Job Description Job Description Skyworks Solutions Technology and Manufacturing group (TMG) is looking for a passionate and skilled engineering leader to interface

with our external foundries and internal functions (product engineering, back-end operations, quality, etc) to drive industry leading quality, reliability and cost.

Location: San Jose or Irvine or, CA We are seeking a seasoned technical leader with strong background in fab process engineering + working experience in product design and fab technology development with a desire to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing quality, cost, velocity This role will require strong leadership skills that will be exercised across multiple engineering teams including product design, wafer technology development, product engineering, test engineering, program management, reliability engineering

and failure analysis engineering to manage new products introductions and high-volume manufacturing and working with supply chain to meet our customer deliverables.

Responsibilities • Technical direction of a talented and diverse group of Foundry Engineers and x-functional leadership across Project Managers, Product, Test, Reliability and Failure Analysis Engineers • Continuous improvement of the New Product Introduction process • Continuous improvement in fab cost, cycle time through value engineering • Managing fab mavericks and implementing in-line FDC (fault detection and classification) to avoid downstream escapes • Managing fab excursions and driving a robust 8D prevent repeat • Partner with Production Control, Quality, Supply Chain to ensure On-time delivery to customer needs and ensuring no customer escapes and zero field returns • Partner with IT to automate repeat tasks and deliverables to allow team to focus on tackling the next challenge and possibility thinking Qualifications • Track record of building strong cross functional relationships • Background of fab process engineering or fab technology development • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent leadership and communication skills • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project completion • Strong background in digitization/ automation to free up teams time from repetitive work • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results Education Requirements • Master’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical or Electrical Engineering or related field with 10+ years of high-volume semiconductor production or technology development • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical or Electrical Engineering or related field with 14+ years of high-volume semiconductor production or technology development The typical base pay range for this role across the U.

S. is currently USD $163,800 - $324,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U. S.
