Digital transformation of Drill Bits organization, develop new processes and work with the Manufacturing and AMO plants on a day to day basis. As a Manufacturing Engineer (Drill Bits) The Woodlands, TX you will be responsible for: This position will help to accelerate Digital transformation of Drill Bits organization, develop new processes and work with the Manufacturing and AMO plants on a day to day basis.
This role will own the development, deployment, automation and maintenance of systems for used for creating and consuming data from databases. This will include GUI development, Tableau report development, database maintenance (SQL), query creation, and optimization of reporting tools.
In addition this role will train to users on the systems developed. The position will also be responsible for leading and participating in projects across the Drill Bit manufacturing and AMO organization.
These projects may be for new processes, optimization of existing processes or a cross functional opportunity. This position will develop electronics and electrical hardware/processes such as low voltage data acquisition systems and the enclosures to house them. This may include both the design and construction of the boxes, ie soldering, wiring etc. This position will lead Lean and Six Sigma projects across the Drill Bits organization. (Green Belt Required) The position will be responsible
for taking Engineering specifications and developing processes to meet the criteria.
To be successful in this role you will: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing). Prior experience in Programming in any language OR hands on experience in Tooling, Welding, Manuel Lathe, or Milling preferred.
