We are looking for you to join our team as a Systems Integration and Test Engineer based out of San Diego, CA. What You'll get to Do: The selected individual will be responsible for integration and testing for all activities on a systems training program.

This position requires full-time on-site work. Roles & Responsibilities include but aren't limited to: Responsible for the integration of program capabilities into a new systems training environment Responsible for the development and execution of test plans and test cases to verify subsystem functional requirements and capabilities.

Interfaces with Systems Engineering Leadership to develop long-term test strategy to meet verification plan Ownership of systems test deliverable work products through program review processes Manages short and long-term test planning and execution of multiple baselines. Technical leadership of a team focused on integration and testing capabilities in a systems training environment Assist with coordination of supporting organizations in executing and planning a test program, including our internal and external customers.

Provide support for post-test data processing and analysis as required to support test objectives. Prepare detailed test reports and present to leadership and customers. Acts as a key stakeholder of the program's test requirements. Participating in technical exchange meetings, program increment planning meetings, interfacing with customers, and contributing to a broad range of program deliverables.

Work closely with engineers and systems administrators in a lab, testing and/or training environment Occasional travel may be required This position will require onsite work however for this role we are able to offer flexible work arrangements and some remote work will be possible. Position may be filled at a higher grade based on the requirements below. Basic Qualifications: Basic Qualification Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM Discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) from an accredited University/College and 5+ years of engineering related experience, or a Master's in STEM and 3+ years of related experience Basic Qualification Sr Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM Discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) from an accredited University/College and 9+ years of engineering related experience, or a Master's in STEM and 7+ years of related experience, or a Ph D in STEM and 4+ years of related experience Basic Qualification Principal and Sr Principal Systems Engineer: Experience conducting a formal test event and performing in one or more of the following disciplines: System Integration, System Test, and/or Systems Engineering Experience leading te chnical teams through a system development, integration and test lifecycle Experience with Agile development methodology Experience integrating hardware and software in a lab, test, and/or training environment Active Do D Secret Clearance within the last 5 years or Active Do D Top Secret Clearance Must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, a Special Access Programs (SAP/SAR) level clearance as a condition of continued employment Preferred Qualifications for both levels: Experience developing training modules and/or user technical manuals Experience working with aircraft ground systems Experience with SE tools (DOORS, CAMEO, or similar) Familiarity with Model Based System Engineering Experience with Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Git, Confluence) Experience as an Agile Scrum Product Owner or Scrum Master Experience using software test automation tools/frameworks in a CI/CD environment Familiarity with data recording and analysis tools such as Wireshark and DRG Experience with Earned Value Management System as Control Account Manager or Project Engineer Experience with Windows/Linux operating systems & Virtual Machines (VMs) Familiarity with cloud/hybrid infrastructures and related technologies Knowledge of tactical datalinks and interoperability testing including Link-16/JREAP-C and emerging standards Salary Range: $107,300 - $160,900 Salary Range 2: $133,000 - $199,600The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.

Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
