make the impossible, possible. Northrop Grumman SSSD has an opening for a [Manager 03, RISE Mission Technologies and Applications] to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

This position will be located in Redondo Beach. The primary responsibility is to grow the RISE organization by developing required technologies that will support future mission needs. The Manager helps to define a technology focused growth strategy, works closely with capture organizations and mission engineering team to identify needs and produces technical solutions. Works externally and internally to obtain funding to develop or access the technologies, defines how to transition the technologies into Programs of Record or to new programs, ensures proper execution of R&D activities and is the Program Review Authority for all RISE IRAD and CRAD efforts.

The manager will work closely with the customer organizations to understand and influence customer technology development roadmaps and shape future technology investments through regular customer interactions and white papers. The Manager plays a key role in identifying targets for the RISE AOP/LRSP and works closely with the Strategy Director and the Business Development Director to achieve financial targets. Manager is expected to represent RISE interests externally at the division levels, collaborating closely with PGS and TSS divisions.

This includes representing owning and representing the technology strategy for the M1 BST. Critical facets of this role include developing and owning cross division technology roadmaps, identifying and executing strategic CRADs as well as building collaborative relationships with suppliers and universities. Bachelors of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) field from an accredited institution and 7+ years of experience in Engineering Prior leadership experience as a technical, program, functional manager or team lead Prior experience in cost and schedule management Experience in writing proposals and developing next generation technologies Excellent communications skills which include the ability to verbally articulate and make effective presentations, and to prepare clear and concise written reports Develop and maintain customer relationships Candidate must have, and be able to maintain, at least ONE of the following active U.

S. Government security clearances: Dept of Defense Top Secret level with a background investigation date within 6 years OR SCI access with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years OR Dept of Energy Q clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) Excellent interpersonal skills Aptitude to develop and execute to a strategy Self-directed technical leader with strong verbal and written communication skills Prior program management or Integrated Product Team leadership experience Knowledge of business and finance Ability to manage and balance competing interests/priorities Digital Hardware Engineering Los Angeles Space Salary Range: $180,600 - $271,000The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
