This is a full-time position that may entail working on weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. You will report to the Production Manager and work from an oil and gas production site.
Location: Alvarado, TXWork Schedule: Monday - Friday. This is a locally based schedule. Due to the nature of this full-time, long-term position, candidates are required to reside within a 50-mile radius or 1 hour drive of the site. This schedule allows you to return home every night, and as such, there are no accommodations provided for man-camps or housing

RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor and control oil and gas production from assigned leases to ensure maximum efficiency and
profitability. Conduct routine inspections of well sites, facilities, and equipment to ensure proper operation and maintenance.
Monitor and maintain accurate records of production, injection, and operating data for all wells. Perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including pumps, separators, and pipelines. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines related to oil and gas production. Coordinate with third-party service providers to ensure the safe and efficient completion of well maintenance and repair activities. Respond to emergency situations, such as spills or equipment malfunctions, in a timely and effective manner.
Maintain effective communication with supervisors, co-workers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. Experience with oilfield software (e. g. SCADA, CYGNET, e Vin) is preferred. SAP Experience PSM certification is a plus. PSM certification refers to the certification obtained by individuals who have successfully completed training and demonstrated knowledge in the principles and practices of process safety management. Process Safety Management is a system designed to prevent or minimize the occurrence of catastrophic incidents, such as explosions, fires, or chemical releases, in facilities that handle hazardous materials.
It involves identifying, evaluating, and controlling potential risks associated with the handling of highly hazardous chemicals and ensuring proper procedures, training, and safety measures are in place to mitigate those risks. PSM certification signifies that an individual has received specialized training and possesses the necessary knowledge and skills to implement and maintain process safety management protocols in an industrial setting. 5+ years experience in engineering with extensive capital project management experience. Extensive experience of: Process plant technical standards & regulatory compliance requirements. Project management standards, safety systems, project & construction safety, process & operational hazard backssment, process automation. Capital procurement, contract development, supplier negotiation & development. Mechanical Design and Auto Cad Drafting Knowledge of & capability in process improvement, lean six sigma tools would be advantageous.
