Reviews project specifications (i. e. EMO and special coatings) for field sales. Coordinates with field sales, consulting engineer and distributor on large technical projects. Provides technical back-up assistance in absence of Marketing and Technical Manager.
Reviews specifications, submits literature to customer, checks detailed drawings sent to manufacturing and checks/approves orders in the absence of Product Engineering Technician. Assists the Marketing and Technical Manager in the review and development of language for use in industry standards such as AWWA, MSS, UL, FM and NSF. Writes reviews and offers corrections to website, valve and hydrant manual, brochures and other collateral
information. Works with Sales and marketing in updating or developing sales tools and display equipment. Trains new salespeople to understand product line and engineering principles pertaining to products.
Coordinates sales training program. Identifies need for additions to product line and/or product design changes. Works with research and AFC manufacturing units on the development of new designs and/or modifications to existing product designs.. Minimum Qualifications: Must exhibit a bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university. Proof of degree required. A transcript or diploma must be provided. Must exhibit a good command of grammar and spelling.

Must exhibit the ability to cooperate well with others. Must exhibit good oral and written communication skills. Must exhibit an ability to learn. Preferred Qualifications: Two years of experience working in product related to engineering, manufacturing engineering, or similar processes. One year experience working with word processing and spreadsheet software, as well as product configuration, or enterprise resource planning applications.
