Position Summary Career opportunity available to a self-motivated, high performing candidate with a proven track record in the design and construction of advanced technology manufacturing facility chemical and gas

systems – especially semiconductor fabs. The role is key to the business growth and successful delivery of projects for Bechtel’s Manufacturing and Technology (M&T) clients.

This position provides project oversight to Chem/Gas Engineers and Designers as well as Procurement and Construction Management personnel. The role works with other Subject Matter Experts (SME) within M&T to identify, develop and incorporate industry leading processes and tools, and to provide training and development of M&T engineering and construction professionals to ensure the quality delivery of chemical and gas storage, handling and distribution systems. Responsibilities The key areas of responsibility include technical excellence, driving innovation, consistency, design guides and standards, work processes and tools, and internal as well as external relationships.

Project Team/Group Lead for Semiconductor Chemical and Gas systems. Participates and actively engages in relevant professional organizations and conferences. Provides expertise to project teams from pre-FEED through all phases of project delivery including startup and turnover. Works with client system owners and other team stakeholders to ensure that systems meet client requirements and performance expectations.

Provides Engineering Design, Procurement and Construction leadership for chemical and gas system activities. Covers the full delivery cycle. Facilitates and occasionally conducts engineering and construction reviews. Supports management reviews and project proposals. Provides leadership in the backssment of technical issues and contributes experience and expertise in the solution of difficult problems. Assists with developing proposals and schedules. Provides development and deployment of best practices and lessons learned. Visits project teams and sites to assist with on-project technical challenges.

Qualifications and Skills Basic Qualifications Registered PE in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Bachelors or higher degree in chemical engineering from an accredited university. 10 years of experience directly relating to and including design, engineering, specification and construction of semiconductor (or similar high-tech). 5 years of experience with facility chemical and gas systems. Additional Qualifications Substantial experience in EPC and/or operating industry, with multiple years in a leadership role. A conceptual understanding of chemical engineering principles and their general application to typical semiconductor chemical and gas systems.

Extensive experience with major regulations and industry codes and standards affecting standard design, specification, quality, or processes. Excellent communication and people development skills. Extensive relevant experience and adaptability to support chemical and gas systems required in other M&T facilities and operations.
