Status: Full-time exempt What You'll Be Doing: The Dev Sec Ops Engineer works as a member of a Dev Sec Ops team focusing on automation development, testing, and deployment through the entire Continuous Integration
and Continuous Deployment/Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will work to bring modern software development techniques to our DOD customers.
The Dev Sec Ops Engineer serves as an escalation point for critical and complex issues, performs configuration, integration, and testing of products, assists with developing and documenting work processes, and trains other team members. Must Haves: Education: BS/BA degree or equivalent experience, technically strong and highly motivated entry-level candidates will be considered Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams in the maintenance and development of various CI/CD pipelines, automated software
builds, and tests. Design, implement, and maintain systems of varying complexity that support the Dev Sec Ops paradigm of software development processes in a Linux and Windows environment.
Experience with integrating Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) technologies and techniques. Understanding cloud, virtualization, APIs, and modern software languages. Software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages: Java, Python, Go, Ruby, C++, etc. Experience working with containers (Kubernetes, Docker). Experience working with Software Development Lifecycle tools, such as Git Lab. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate security into Dev Sec Ops workflows.
Stay up to date with the latest security trends and technologies and educate development and operations teams on security best practices. Do D 8570 IAT Level II (one or more of the following): CCNA-Security Cy SA+ GICSP GSEC Security+ CE CND SSCP Nice To Haves: Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems like Elastic, Wazuh, Splunk, Log Rhythm, QRadar, Arc Sight Enterprise Security Manager (ESM). Experience working with automation tools such as Ansible, Vagrant, Puppet, Terraform, and similar toolsets. Experience with SAST and DAST tools such as Coverity, Klocwork, Sonar Qube, Fortify, Mayhem.
Experience with patch cycles and update management Understanding of RMF processes and Do D security standards Security Requirements: An Active Secret Clearance is required at the time of hire in order to be considered.
