This position will assist the Mining & Manufacturing Engineering department with project-related initiatives as assigned.
The position is a summer internship for 2024. Key Responsibilities Duties proved meaningful work experience and business knowledge to college students in pursuit of an Engineering degree. Performs routine aspects of Engineering requiring knowledge and application of basic Engineering principles under close supervision May use computer-assisted engineering software and equipment to perform
engineering tasks Assists with lab and pilot-scale testing and evaluation Collects and prepares date for evaluation May assist in the coordination of projects from conception (feasibility) through final plan preparations Handles various administrative duties Provides support to staff members as needed May provide support for multiple facilities across the Mining & Manufacturing business unit Typical Education Working toward a BS in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Relevant Experience Strong attention to detail Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment Able to keep up in a fast-paced work environment Fluent in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel Required
Certifications Valid Driver's License required Other Information Enrollment in an Academic Engineering program, from a nationally accredited educational facility/university.
Candidate must be willing to learn process operation, and work in an industrial setting.
