Support the discipline engineering lead in maintaining Budget, Schedule and adherence to the project scope of work. Coordinates and facilitates with Instrument Section Lead for staff assignment, change management and discipline technical support Attend project and client meetings, assign specific design tasks to Houston and Workshare Instrument design team members, monitor production levels, perform checking
/ technical audits, and support project reporting requirements. Review and apply project standards and documents to assure they are compatible and aligned with the overall project objectives.
Bring discrepancies to the attention of the Design Coordinator for resolution. Work closely with peer project design staff as well as engineering staff to assure the integrity of project deliverables and documents are maintained, accurate, and consistent Participate in all available technical training while continuously improving technical skill sets. Provide guidance and support to Instrument Designers QUALIFICATIONS 2 year Associates degree - Instrumentation Control Systems or equal training
/ experience 15+ years industry experience, with experience as a lead on an Offshore project Working knowledge of applicable codes and regulations Basic knowledge of industry standard design tools, 2D CAD (Autocad & Microstation), Database applications (Smartplant Instrumentation & Aveva) & 3D modeling tools (E3D, S3D & Cadworks) Complete understanding of required scheduling, productivity reporting and work process for deliverable production Complete knowledge of department design and drafting standards and procedures Strong ethical standards.
