access to physical therapy for poor, rural Nepali children who are at the highest risk for permanent disability due to serious burn injuries. We are 4 graduate students from the schools of medicine and business seeking an engineer to join the team this summer to develop the Hand Hero from our current working prototype into a fully functional medical device, ready for field testing in Nepal by the end of the summer.
You will be working with us at the Social Entrepreneurship Lab at the Stanford GSB. Mechanical Engineers, Bioengineers, and Product Designers preferred, with experience building things and working in the Product Realization Lab. 20-40 hours per week commitment, mid June to mid August.
