The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of excellence in conducting comprehensive system architecture studies, creating product families, and formulating and executing rigorous testing strategies. Furthermore, the candidate should be effective in working with others and a solid mentor and coach to entry-level engineers. Key Responsibilities: System Expertise: Apply extensive knowledge and research in
HVAC systems to guide the overall system and component design and qualification process. Product Leadership: Lead product design, layout, development, testing, and evaluation of mechanical and electro-mechanical devices, systems, sub-systems, controls, etc.
while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and design. Strategic Vision: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for product development activities, including engineering studies, feasibility backssments, cost estimates, adherence to standard and non-standard specifications, and the creation of performance and maintenance requirements. Testing and Qualification: Execute thorough testing and qualification procedures
for systems, sub-systems, and components. Review test results in alignment with design or rated specifications and test objectives, and initiate equipment modifications to meet specifications.
Design Quality Enhancement: Provide recommendations for design quality improvement by reducing design errors and escapes. Innovative Design: Develop and test models of alternative designs and processing methods to backss operational impacts and explore potential new applications. Collaboration: Foster strong communication and collaboration with quality control and related departments to ensure top-notch product quality. Product Line Support: Potentially provide support for existing product lines by contributing to design activities and hardware modifications in production.
