the Role Productivity Technology is looking for an experienced manager who will Establish & lead a team of software developers and will be responsible for Conceptualizing, Designing and Delivering Gen AI enabled Platform experiences across the Workday product ecosystem.
This is an Unique opportunity to be part of the Gen AI disruption within an Enterprise product. Establish an Engineering Team from the ground up. Grow, lead and inspire a team of high performing software developers to build and maintain the product Imbue Team with a Culture of Innovation & Experimentation as they Deliver Gen AI enabled Products. Mentor team with career growth and personal development Plan, release, and schedule development, working closely with Product Management to determine scope and ensure that features meet requirements Track and report progress of the project against key milestones and keep feature stakeholders updated Coordinate cross functionally across various teams/organizations both internal and external driving research and product development efforts Ensure on-time and high quality delivery of the project Promote good software engineering practices About You You are a hands-on Technical leader with enthusiasm for team success.

You have awareness of emerging industry practices, and have talent for creating usable, scalable, well-tested software. You want to work in a highly collaborative, agile, and respectful environment. You love learning new technologies, languages, tools, and you have a passion for building frameworks and Platforms. You are equally comfortable with Front end UI development and Server-side development on public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP). Basic Qualifications 3+ years managing development teams of 6+ engineers, including remote developers5+ years of software design and development experience10+ years of enterprise software experience Other Qualifications Experience with Leading Platform teams is a plus.
Experience and passion with Agile development methodologies (Kanban, Scrum) and Test Driven Development Attention to detail and deep understanding of engineering best practiceinteractionperience with Cloud Development teams is a plus BS in Computer Science/related field or equivalent experience Workday Pay Transparency Statement The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.
Workday pay ranges vary based on work location.
