Implement and validate algorithms in C++ and SYCL, ensuring compatibility with various hardware accelerators like GPUs, CPUs, and FPGAs. Conduct performance benchmarking and analysis to guide optimization efforts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate developed algorithms into larger systems and pipelines. Keep up to date with the latest advancements in image processing and mathematical algorithm research, as well
as SYCL standards and best practices. Produce high-quality documentation, including algorithm descriptions, performance analyses, and user guides. Review code and provide constructive feedback to team members.
In addition to the qualifications listed below, the ideal candidate will also have: Strong background in image processing, computer vision, and mathematical algorithms. Familiarity with software development tools like Git, CMake, and continuous integration systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. Minimum Qualifications: The candidate must be pursuing a Master's/Ph D degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline with 6+ months of relevant industry experience. 6+ months of experience in C++ programming, with hands-on experience in SYCL and/or other parallel computing frameworks such as CUDA or Open CL.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in machine learning and neural networks. Experience in algorithmic performance optimization. Published research in areas related to image processing or mathematical algorithms.
