for future positions at Northrop Grumman. Northrop Grumman Aeronautic Systems has an opening for a Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team of qualified diverse individuals.

This position will be located in El Segundo, CA. This position will be required to analyze, research and develop structural engineering analysis packages involving metals, non-metallic or composite structural materials for product design, or operation of product to include structures, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronics, power plant, armament, heating and ventilating, equipment and maintenance designs. Analyzes damage tolerance, durability, design allowables and structural modeling. Specific structural

engineering specialties may include dynamics and loads, stability and stress fatigue and thermal analysis.

Tools utilized may include Femap, Nastran, Microsoft Excel/Power Point, and a variety of proprietary software applications. Basic Qualifications: For Structural Analysis Engineer, Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of relevant experience OR a Master's Degree in a STEM field with 0 year of relevant experience. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Previous exposure with Bonded Composite Structural Analysis of primary and secondary aircraft structures is recommended Previous exposure with Metallic Structural Analysis of primary and secondary aircraft structures Experience with Structural Analysis Methods and documentation, including hand-sheet analysis, as well as the development and manipulation of large Finite Element Models. Preferred Qualifications: Current Do D Secret or Top Secret Clearance Experience working on Special Access Programs Experience working on military aircraft Experience as a Lead Engineer managing a small group of analysts 2+ years or more Aerospace structural analysis experience using NASTRAN, PATRAN, or FEMAP.

Experience with analysis of composite structure and repair methods Experience with analysis of metallic structure and repair methods Salary Range: $87,200 - $130,800The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
