Daily and Monthly Responsibilities: Coordinate efforts of technicians and lab staff in specification, procurement, setup and operation of test equipment; High degree of
mechanical aptitude expected. Lead project teams to perform in-depth analysis of engine performance for traditional spark-ignited combustion and advanced combustion modes.
Establish and implement best practices for test execution to ensure quality and accuracy of test data. Work closely with customers to define scope for proposals, provide timely updates and thorough analysis. Provide direction and mentorship to junior staff through detailed work instructions and constructive feedback. Requirements: Requires a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering. 8-12 years: Experience with engine testing or simulation required; Detailed experience with test cell setup, test planning, and data analysis preferred.
