As a Tanks Engineer, you will work in multidisciplinary teams and provide expertise in aspects of storage tank design for all storage tank types and configurations.

General Job Duties Whether it's ambient, low temperature or cryogenic storage tanks or pressure vessels, there are a broad range of products and services needed for Bechtel engineering and construction
projects. The Bechtel Tank Business Line (TBL) develops and delivers these products and services with a commitment to safety, innovative, timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project delivery.
An internship with the Bechtel TBL group is an opportunity to work with some of the leading engineers in the storage tank industry with many opportunities for career growth. Become knowledgeable of industry standards and codes and be able to apply them to the work. Prepare design calculation packages to support Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) phases of projects. Develop technical procedures, drawings, and specifications for the completion
of work. Assist with the preparation of purchase requisitions for material and equipment.
Work closely with other functions to ensure the needs of the project are met with the best quality possible. Maintain the highest level of safety awareness and ensure all tasks are completed to the highest safety standards. Basic Qualifications Currently enrolled in a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, or relevant degree, from an accredited college or university. Completed at least one year of undergraduate studies in one of the above fields. Ability and willingness to relocate and/or travel to domestic and/or international project jobsites.
Possess the ability to work and remain in the US without visa sponsorship, now or in the future. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check. Preferred Qualifications Currently enrolled in a four-year Master of Science degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, or relevant degree, from an accredited college or university. Completed relevant coursework with a strong GPA. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
