Job Description You will design circuits that will be used in Skyworks' front-end products used in 5G mobile applications. You will be responsible for the following: Work with internal teams to derive specifications for LNA and RF switch. Design, simulate and debug LNA and RF switch circuits fabricated in SOI and CMOS technologies using tools like Cadence, ADS and HFSS.
Design logic using standard gates. Perform chip top level functional verification before tape out Present the simulation results in design reviews. Support evaluation, validation and debug of the circuits in the laboratory using various instruments such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer etc. Support simulation to measurement correlation Job Requirements Master's in electrical engineering plus 3 years of experience in designing SOI LNA and RF Switch circuits Familiarity of CMOS and SOI processes Deep understanding of device physics, transmission line theory Familiarity with RF systems concepts such as linearity, noise figure, return loss.
Deep understanding of LNA design and RF switch design Deep understanding of analog and mixed signal circuit design using Cadence, ADS, HFSS Familiarity with lab measurements using spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, oscilloscope, signal generator, power supplies. Ability to work in a group and make presentations. Familiarity with various productivity tools such as MS office, Excel, Power point. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.
S. is currently USD $87,600 - $167,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U. S.
