this important field. Skyworks Irvine Design Center is seeking a motivated Summer/Fall Co-Op eager to join a winning team in the competitive mobile communications market.

aspects of highly integrated semiconductor, module, and embedded RF circuits design, our in-house prototype Assembly Lab capable of building fully packaged samples, and our world-class RF characterization laboratory.

Responsibilities Block-level design and simulation to understand the circuits that are being measured and correlating measurements with simulation Tuning RF front end modules in the lab Impedance matching using Smith chart Evaluating RF parameters like IP3, P1d B, NF, return loss, etc Validating performance across supply, temperature and frequency Creating compliance matrices against spec, plotting results and presenting results summary Requirements Ability to work June/July 2024 - December 2024 Must be currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering preferably MS or Ph.

D. program Knowledge of semiconductors, analog circuits, RF design fundamentals, wireless systems and introductory electromagnetics Understanding of basic IC building blocks like LNA, mixer, switch, bias, bandgap, LDO, op-amp, etc. Understanding of design parameters like gain, noise, non-linearity, s-parameters, stability, etc is required Exposure to a lab testing setup and environment including commonly used test equipment like network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, frequency generator, noise figure meter will be useful to perform the required job Familiarity and experience with circuit design tools like Cadence and be familiar with CMOS/bipolar/SOI devices and models Use of Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel is required to perform job duties successfully Position requires good communication and presentation skills The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.

S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U. S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
