will work with a highly collaborative teams of production, quality, design, test lab, and marketing representatives to facilitate New Product Introductions into a variety of markets. This role will also identify, investigate, and evaluate new engineering technologies that can support business needs.

Responsibilities: Works with project teams to develop the manufacturing processes and equipment in a New Product Introduction environment to meet the design and schedule requirements. Collaborates with design teams to implement principles of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) & Design for Additive Manufacturing (DFAM) Participates in risk management generation to create DFMEA, PFMEA and Control

Plans. Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment along conferring with external suppliers.

Conducting research programs around new manufacturing processes, DOE’s, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators. Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production labor, material costs, reviewing production schedules and work cell development. Works collaboratively with Quality Engineering and Operations to generate and execute IQ/OQ/PQ and safety

processes. Integrate statistical quality control systems into manufacturing process design for the monitoring of performance.

Training and guiding technician on new manufacturing processes. Presents manufacturing summaries in project review meetings. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Have the ability to lead the manufacturing process portion of a team in a highly collaborative environment. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or above in an engineering or technical discipline Minimum of two (2) or more years of engineering work experience preferred.

Minimum of one (1) or more years of direct experience using CAD (Computer Aided Design) software Preferred Qualifications: Familiar with requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and USP Class VI Experience operating within a cleanroom environment (ISO Class 7 / Class 10,000). Knowledge of injection molding manufacturing process Experience with sonic, spin, and heat stake welding of injection molded components History of performing multi-factor process validations Proficient with Pro-E/CREO or Solid Works. ERP system operations (Oracle preferred) Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC, RCA, Problem Solving Tools, Kanban, Poka Poke, 5S, standard work generation) Experience using Minitab statistical analysis software or equivalent.

Implementation of semi and fully automation manufacturing and PLC controlled systems. Understanding of project management.
