Duties may include the support of VM infrastructure, web servers, database servers, thin clients, Citrix farms, terminal servers, and manufacturing/mining support applications and resolving incidents and problems with end-users, investigation of customer questions, research and documentation of problem causes and their solutions. Supported technologies include desktops, laptops, mobile devices, thin clients, servers (both physical
and virtual), networking (both physical and virtual), and Storage Area Networks. A person in this position, will be required to partner with the business unit and other departments within IT to implement new projects and technologies as needed.
The person will be responsible for providing support to enterprise analysts in multiple technical areas within the organization, as well as, work with outside vendors that may be needed to support the facility and its functions. Installation of new equipment, setup, configuration, documentation of systems and/or software, network monitoring and performance, and light project management may be required. Travel may be required to other locations
(such as Caldwell) in order to resolve issues or provide on-site support, attend training, etc.
Work will be performed in onsite locations that will include non-traditional IT environments, to include the manufacturing floor. Key Responsibilities Assure data backup, computer/network security and power protection are within IT guidelines. Participate on technical project teams to enhance the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of technical support. Build and maintain hardware inventory. Maintain current knowledge of information systems technology. Perform installations, repair, upgrades, and troubleshooting for software and hardware. Provide installation, troubleshooting and maintenance for all LAN infrastructures at support locations.

Shared responsibility for monitoring circuit and network performance, identification of circuit or component failures, including accurate and timely reporting of issues into a centralized ticketing database. Within standards and guidelines, determine and acquire appropriate hardware and software by consulting with users, vendors and other support/business analysts. Typical Education Bachelor's Degree from 4 year college or university in a technology related field, OR equivalent education and experience.

Must be able to coordinate, prioritize and follow up on multiple problems/projects to completion.
