Engineer your primary duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: Performing Engineering activities including those in support of, or as a qualified Design Authority for systems and facilities.
Performing electrical risk backssments and calculating electrical loads for new electrical supplies. Writing reports. Investigating equipment issues. Specifying equipment compliant with required standards. Generating and revising operating procedures. Generating designs & calculations. Providing technical support to facility operations. Performing all work in compliance with Engineering procedures. Interfacing with Operations personnel. Preparing engineering evaluations
and technical documentation required for facilities that are preparing for or undergoing the process of cold and dark, and demolition.
Qualifying as a Design Authority for assigned facilities and systems. Basic Qualifications Early Career Level Grade 14: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or scientific discipline. Intermediate Level Grade 16: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or scientific discipline with 2 or more years of relevant experience. The higher posted levels have greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE) License. High Voltage Transmission. Previous experience working at a DOE facility. Compensation & Benefits In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates. Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week): Early Career Level Grade 14: $71,200 - $89,800.
Intermediate Level Grade 16: $86,138 - $108,513. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
