We are seeking a Summer Intern Engineer to work with our advanced development team,
a group of semiconductor device, process, and design experts, in development of compound semiconductor technologies used in the manufacturing of various RF functional blocks for cellular and Wi Fi applications.
You will gain real world industrial experience, while contributing to key development projects with a diverse team of experts. Job Responsibilities Design and evaluate device test structures and power amplifier building blocks Performance data gathering / testing and statistical analysis of Ga As devices and circuits Setting up and debugging simulation test benches Assisting with circuit design and circuit simulations for improved technology performance Job Requirements Currently working towards a graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering Understands basic semiconductor physics and basic device fabrication processes Strong background in RFIC and Microwave design Knowledge in RF parameters (insertion loss, return loss, harmonics, IMD, IIP3, VSWR, NF, power gain).
Hands-on RF characterization skill is a plus Familiar with CAD tools including layout and circuit simulation Knowledge and interest in computer programming to drive automation in measurements / data analysis / simulation Strong analytical and communication skills The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.
S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U. S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U. S.
