We are seeking a Staff Dev Ops Engineer to join our talented Storm-1 team in Redondo Beach, CA. What you'll get to do: Provide automation configuration with tools like Ansible and Hashi Corp Packer
to automate build and configuration processes Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) process and tools, deployment strategies Containers and containerization technologies Agile management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Git Hub, and desire to study/learn new technologies and tools Develop and support scripts in Python and Bash Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in STEM with 14 years of relevant experience; Master's degree in STEM with 12 years of relevant experience; Ph D in STEM with 9 years of relevant experience Active TS clearance, and the ability to obtain SAP Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CI/CD best practices, automated builds and tests, quality gates, software quality, and CI tools, i.
e. Jenkins Experience with configuration management tools, i. e. Git, Git Hub, Git Lab, Bitbucket, others Familiarity with branching strategies, gated commits, source-controlled management, etc. Familiarity with the principle of Dev Sec Ops Atlassian JIRA or other defect tracking tool experience Atlassian Confluence, Git Hub, Jenkins, and Nexus repository experience Familiarity with security coding standard best practices, static and dynamic scanning tools, i. e. Sonar Qube, Fortify, Coverity, PCLint, etc.
Programming and scripting experience in a UNIX environment (C++, Perl, Python, Bash, Ruby, Shell, Scripts) Salary Range: $165,000 - $247,600The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
