Location: El Segundo, CA
on supporting the Horizon program within the Space Command and Control (Space C2) Program Management Office. As part of this role, you will be collaborating closely with the Space Systems Command's (SSC) Battle Management Command, Control & Communications (BMC3) Program Executive Office.
Your primary responsibilities will involve contributing to the development, deployment, modernization, and expansion efforts of the Space C2 program. The position requires you having an in-depth experience with Do D program acquisition processes and documentation. You will interact and coordinate daily with numerous stakeholders (Program Managers, Contracting Officers, System Engineers, and external/partner
organizations). Fun stuff you will do on the job: Drive a strategy for migration from a mixed cloud/on-premise environment to a multi-hybrid cloud environment.
This will include design, documentation, and briefings to senior leaders and stakeholders to drive stability, resiliency, scalability, and flexibility into the BMC3 ground systems architecture. Support various systems architecting and engineering activities, including system requirements definition, design, interface management, data architecture development, verification and validation, integration, performance analysis, lifecycle cost analysis and estimation, decision analysis, and physical configuration backssments. Manage external
interfaces for Space C2, including interactions with Space Systems Command enterprise organizations, the Missile Defense Agency, and various other mission partner organizations.
Provide Integrated Product Support, with a focus on identifying, developing, implementing, incentivizing, and measuring quantifiable best value outcome-based product support solutions that optimize Life-Cycle Cost. Assist and enable the expansion of various applications to operational units. Qualifications This is you: (Basic Qualifications needed) Bachelors degree in STEM from an accredited university with 14 years of experience: Within information technology architecting and implementing large scale, highly-available, complex solutions In cloud native infrastructure solutions engineering, implementation, administration, integration, and operations Experience in supporting and/or managing technical programs throughout the software engineering life cycle.
In-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable) Willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examination You will wow us even more if you have experience will the following: Development of best practices for network, storage, and compute within commercial cloud solutions (e.

Amazon Web Services AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform GCP, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure OCI, etc. ) Understanding of security controls, principles, and best-practices within commercial cloud offerings (e. g. access management, monitoring, configuration management, etc. ) Management of interdependencies, identification of gaps between current/future architectures, evaluation of requirements and interfaces Utilizing Dev Sec Ops processes and tooling to create enterprise automation constructs for effective and efficient software delivery Certifications in any of the following Cloud Service Providers (CSPs): MAW, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, Oracle Cloud, Salesforce, or Adobe Cloud Experience within the National Security Space domain Experience working in development environment and, or U.
