Job Summary Xumo, a joint venture between Comcast and Charter, was formed to develop and offer a next-generation streaming platform on a variety of branded 4K streaming devices and smart TVs. Powered by Comcast's global technology platform, Xumo devices and services feature an entertainment experience designed to make it easy for consumers

to find and enjoy their favorite streaming content through a world-class user interface and voice search, and for partners to meaningfully connect and engage with millions of consumers.

Our engineering team develop our free ad-supported service that currently delivers more than 200 unique streaming channels and features hundreds of free content choices on our own Xumo platform as well as leading streaming platforms such as You Tube, Amazon, Apple, Google, Roku and smart TV manufacturers such as Samsung, Vizio, LG, Sony. Our 10-12-week program as an intern at Comcast will help you cultivate meaningful relationships, develop professional skills, gain insight to the day-to-day operations

of a top media and technology company, and receive mentorship opportunities to expand your professional network.

You will gain invaluable knowledge of our industry, be part of our diverse and welcoming culture and receive exposure to other areas of the business, all while working on real life business projects and functions. Job Description Core Responsibilities Working with team leads to identify product and technical requirements. Research and development on assigned topic and present findings and designs. Working with other team members to designs new software and web applications, supports applications under development and customizes current applications. Participate in code review and provide feedback.

Regular, Consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Recent degree or current enrollment in a graduate computer science or computer engineering program with high GPA Familiarity in common software development languages Understanding front end and backend web application architecture Understanding cloud development and architecture Be comfortable doing independent research and development and present your finding and designs to the team and senior leaderships Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program Preferred Major(s) Computer Science Computer Engineering Software Engineering Compensation Qualified candidates will be paid $42 hourly Comcast is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
