RESPONSIBILITIES Most days will be spent in the office preparing basic studies, construction documents, drawings, maps, reports and supporting documentation and calculations as well as coordinating with technicians to ensure timely and accurate document or drawing preparation. You will also assist with document preparation for regulatory agencies to obtain required permits. On some days, you will make field visits to
project sites to investigate, record, and photograph local conditions. Contribute to technical proposal development related to flood studies. Contribute to invoicing projects, tracking schedules and budgets.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, and 2 - 6 years of related experience with hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) models such as HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS. Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam (EIT) and preparing for PE. Demonstrate
a basic understanding of stormwater management and principles of hydrology and hydraulics of stormwater runoff.
Organized, and determined, with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing project obligations. Strong English language skills, written and verbal, are essential to long term success in this role. Quickly get up to speed on our policy, procedures and relevant software, while acquiring an understanding of the company's service offerings, and the client's standards and procedures relevant to your projects. Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to utilize CAD software like Auto CAD and Micro Station; Esri Arc GIS software; and H&H modeling software such as Hydraflow, Pond Pack and HEC-RAS.
Familiar with Clients: NJDOT, NJTA, SJTA, NJTPA, NYCDEP, Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission, North Hudson Sewerage Authority City of Newark, FEMA, NJDEP, New Jersey American Water, County and Local MUAs, PANYNJ. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
