The US base salary range for this full-time position is $119,000-$175,000

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Experience in image quality evaluation Experience writing simulation code in C, C , or Python Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or Ph D in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or related field Experience in image processing, computer vision algorithm design development Experience in embedded system software development ISP 3A experience Understanding of sensor characteristics, optics, and image signal processing of the mobile imaging system, and their influence nuance to final image and video quality Excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Evaluate and define specs for hardware components such as sensors with Phase Detection Pixels, depth sensors (e.

TOF, LIDAR), VCMs, optical zoom, etc. ). - Prototype algorithms for image evaluation, calibration, and validation of multi-camera imaging systems. - Write simulation and tools in C, C , or Python. - Work with our partners in Hardware, Chip Design, Research, and Central Testing teams. - Contribute to building cameras and imaging systems for Google's consumer hardware products.
