PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Conduct technical evaluation of designs regarding compliance to design specifications, and conduct comparative evaluations, and create associated documentation Design test programs, including lab testing and field testing as needed to validate robust performance Work with engineers in hands-on capacity in lab environment conduct testing and document procedures and results using lab instrumentation and measurement equipment.

Work with engineers to gain experience in cad environment and business software.

Summarize and present the internship learning and experience to the leadership team. EDUCATION: Candidates have completed 2nd year of a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, with an interest in pursuing research and product development.

Strong data analysis skills Communication and interpersonal skills required EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS: Must be authorized to work in the U. S. and not require sponsorship now or in the future Mechanical and Electrical aptitude and experience is a plus Ability to multi-task, be detailed oriented and solve problems analytically Experienced in identifying and analyzing problems/issues, making recommendations and implementing solutions. to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical systems Familiarity with CAD software, such as Solidworks and Autocad a plus Ability to take initiative and be resourceful Ability to communicate and work with colleagues/teams in different departments professionally and effectivelyPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties, the employee will be working in the office and the Engineering Test Facility.

The employee is required to sit, stand walk, use hands to handle objects and other tools. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Employee may be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
