learn about some of the work we do. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities: Communicate effectively with internal team, external clients, and industry partners. Work in a flexible and stimulating environment on diverse technical challenges in applied research and development.
Design, build, debug, and implement robotic and automation solutions utilizing electrical, and software skills. Develop and deploy robotic and automation systems for industrial, manufacturing, and defense clients. Coordinate individual performance goals and objectives set by the organization. Develop software for industrial controls and manufacturing systems. Assist in preparing proposals and cost estimates. Interact
with customers to promote new business and develop technical requirements.
Participate on and/or manage technical projects and project tasks; Document and report technical work; Travel on an as needed basis to conduct project work; Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Requires a Bachelors in Robotics Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related degree field. 2-5 years: Robotics or Electrical Engineering experience. Must, at a minimum, have robotics experience in the form of projects, previous employment, or coursework. Demonstrated project work using C++ ad Python. Skills include electrical design for industrial automation, robotics, creation of industrial automation solutions, industrial controls software development.
Human machine interface design and development. Requires introductory knowledge of typical manufacturing requirements and electrical schematics. Beneficial skills: PLC code development, C++ and Python software development, ROS (Robot Operating System), Open CV, PCL (Point Cloud Library), Auto CAD Electrical or equivalent, Linux Interest or knowledge in: industrial robotics, mobile robotics, 2D/3D computer vision, path planning for robotics, machine learning, optimization, perception/sensing for robot guidance, localization.
