construction documents or reports under the general supervision of Senior Engineers and Project Managers. REVIT experience is important but can be trained upon hiring. Key Responsibilities Serve as the Fire Protection Engineering designer on projects. This includes drafting on suppression systems, fire alarm systems, mass notifications, and Life Safety design.

Performs accurate, legible and well thought out design calculations. Reviews own work before submitting. Coordinates Fire Protection Engineering design with other disciplines; highlighting design components that will impact the other discipline's design so that the overall design is constructible without conflict. Attends project

kick off meetings and coordination meetings. Works independently with minimal supervision; is self-motivated and has initiative. Performs assigned tasks in accordance with company QC procedures.

Manages the Fire Protection Engineering drafting on multiple projects. Communicates with internal team members as needed and defined by project. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (BS) from a four-year college or university. SOFTWARE/TECHNICAL SKILLS Proficiency

in MS Office, Internet Explorer, Auto CAD/Revit and BIM required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position required the individual to use the computer working at a desk in either an office or cubicle; must be able to talk and hear, reach with hands and arms, lift up to 10 pounds, stand, sit and walk, must have close and color vision, use depth and peripheral vision, be able to adjust focus. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Occasional attendance at meetings and other off-site events requires the ability to provide reliable transportation.

Position may require occasional travel to domestic or foreign locations. Must maintain a current, valid driver's license and proof of insurance. Employee must be able to travel freely on a passport or other official document. Additional Information Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors.

We anticipate filling this position as a Fire Protection Engineer I with a salary range of $57,900.00 - $85,000.00. Additional cash incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial and/or other benefits dependent on position offered.
