at Lumen. As a Senior Network Operations Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to lead, innovate, and drive improvements within our network operations team.

You will be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing network reliability while championing customer satisfaction. Your ownership of network segments and leadership qualities will be instrumental in guiding and assisting various teams. Your expertise in troubleshooting and optimizing network performance will be key to our success. This position is based in the greater Minneapolis / St. Paul metro. The position is Work From Home with 2 to 3 days per month in office. It is an 8:00AM - 4:30PM / 5-day workweek with on-call on a rotation

Join us in making a difference in network operations and customer satisfaction. The Main Responsibilities Your focus will be on 911 services, experience in 911 and wireless networks is not required but is advantageous. Ideally, you will have a general knowledge of 911 Customer Premises Equipment and network integration. Develop and enhance processes. Troubleshoot, resolve persistent issues and conduct root cause failure analyses for the 911 network. Planned maintenance coordination impacting 911 services.

General Responsibilities: Technical support and training on Lumen's 911 network. Maintain and update the PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) Database. Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders on interconnection issues. Act as an escalation point for customer complaints. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data collection and information sharing. What We Look For in a Candidate Prefer experience in VOIP, Digital, Analog, and Wireless networks in identifying and resolving telecom/network outages. Proficiency in PC skills and network configuration.

Skilled in Microsoft Office for data analysis and reporting. Strong presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Familiarity with test and informational systems.
