responsibility for the following: Maintaining the 5-year PHA revalidation schedule, facilitating PHA and LOPA studies, completing management reviews, writing PHA Reports, and assuring effective and timely closure of PHA /LOPA recommendations. Facilitating project PHAs Supporting capital project PHAs Duties and Responsibilities: Accountable to schedule, coordinate, document and lead PHA/LOPA revalidations maintaining the 5-year window required for revalidation of each study Lead and/or coordinate completion of project PHAs Ability to recognize hazards associated with chemical processes and equipment Ability to interpret P&IDs and other process safety information Ability to read and understand

federal, state and local requirements associated with equipment design and integrity Ability to review prior PHA/LOPA studies for weaknesses and opportunities Stays current with emerging issues related to Process Safety Management Lead / facilitate incident investigations Corrective action item verification for Process Safety related events EHSS Audit Schedule Administration provide site audit schedule reminders, schedule auditors, manage audit reports and action lists participate on audits as a qualified HSS and Process Safety auditor HSS & Process Safety Metric/KPI Administration collect, sort, provide HSS & Process Safety data and trending Required Qualifications: Bachelor s degree or equivalent

(chemical or mechanical engineering a plus) chemical industry experience (5 years EHSS experience, including basic process safety knowledge) 7+ years PHA facilitation experience, including experience leading chemical facility PHA and LOPA studies Must understand Level of Protection Analysis (LOPA), including but not limited to Safety Instrumented Systems, Independent Protection Layers, Instrumented Safety Function, Safety Integrity Level, and Risk Reduction Factors Must understand the concept of Inherently Safer Design Must understand facility siting, including siting of temporary buildings and structures Practical experience in use of PHA software (PHA Works, PHA Pro, etc.

) Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
