We are looking for an Analog Electrical Design Engineer. This person will be responsible for the designing, developing, testing, optimizing, and debugging analog circuits and systems with a focus on innovative MEMS devices and systems. You will be responsible for leading the
electrical aspects of MEMS systems from concept to production, collaborating with other engineers, scientists, and customers, and ensuring the highest quality and performance of our products.
What You Will Do Design, develop, debug, optimize, and test analog circuits and systems, such as MEMS drivers, ADC, DAC PD TIA, op-amp based amplifiers and active filters Create and maintain test plans, technical documents, reports, and presentations, generate engineering changes, release designs for fabrication and assembly, evaluate vendors, analyze issues and determine root cause Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on the design of analog circuits and systems Work with other
team members to optimize and finalize design for full production and to meet all specifications Provide technical support to customers and suppliers Perform and/or support design verification, reliability, and failure analysis to ensure that design meets all specifications and customer requirements Perform other related duties as assigned by management Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, or related technical field or discipline At least 2 years of experience in analog electrical circuit design and development Experience in analog electrical circuit design and debug of various circuits Experience using CAD tools, such as Or CAD, and familiarity with Allegro Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA Experience with design for manufacturing and yield Demonstrated ability to analyze information and solve problems What Will Put You Ahead MS or Ph D degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field related technical discipline 5+ years of electrical system design and process development of optical networking products Experience with optical MEMS devices, especially micromirror arrays for optical switching, and electrical circuits associated with EDFA amplifiers, VOA, Photo Detectors, ADC, DAC, op-amps, etc.
Experience with simulation tools such as SPICE Ability to speak and communicate in Chinese Familiarity or ability to perform FEA simulation using Ansys Mechanical or other tools For this role, we anticipate paying $120,000 - $180,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form. At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
