Education: Must have a bachelor's degree and 11+ years of recent and related work experience, or an associate degree and 15+ years of recent and related work experience Candidates with a bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience with US government missile software safety will be considered.
Must have experience with reviewing and developing Functional Hazard Analyses, Software Material Release packages, Safety backssment Report, Fault Tree Analysis, etc. Must have experience with technical reviews. DESIRED: Experience with
Army Missile Systems and Software Safety. WORK LOCATION: This position offers a remote schedule with travel to Huntsville, Alabama as needed.
BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS REQUIRED: All Bastion employees must be able to pass a national agency check, some positions require a clearance and will require an extensive background verification/check process. Must be organized with good time management skills. Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task. Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time). Regular attendance in accordance with an established work schedule is critical.
Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
