Deere & Company is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Control System Engineer in Cary, NC with the following requirements: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field plus 3 years related experience.
Required skills: Simulation and validation of power electronics converters and advanced control algorithms using Matlab/Simulink or other simulation tools (2 yr); Conduct laboratory tests on power electronics hardware prototypes using power electronics
professional equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, high-precision current probes, high-voltage differential voltage probes, power analyzers, and thermocouples (1 yr); Advanced Power Electronics Control Algorithms design using Matlab/Simulink software, and model-based design software development (1 yr); Analyze power electronics modules performance using lab testing data (1 yr).
Up to 10% remote work allowed. Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite. Up to 25% international and domestic travel required.
