support Completions Sales with feasibility investigations, engineering scope quoting, and requirements definition. Specific Role Functions: Lead an engineering team responsible for investigating unique customer requests and converting these into specific detailed data requirements for engineering design teams to action.
Communicate project plans and constraints with leadership to ensure alignment to other projects and initiatives. Coordinate tasks, schedules and processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product to downstream consumers. Liaison with other engineering teams on engineering issues. Support/develop training plans and continuous improvement initiatives for the team.
Preferred Skills: Experience with business aircraft cabin design and development. Working knowledge of 14 CFR Part 25 regulatory requirements. Working knowledge of CATIA V5 software.
Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's Degree in engineering, a related curriculum required. or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 5 years related engineering experience with Bachelors. Master's Degree Experience credit will be considered for related advance degrees limited to 2 years or Ph. D. Experience credit will be considered for related advance degrees limited to 4 years. Supervises activities of subordinate employees who perform similar tasks within a technical discipline by using established policies and precedents. Plans, coordinates and directs a complex engineering project or a number of smaller projects with moderate complexity.
Provides technical guidance to ensure quality of product and schedule. Trains new engineers in methods and procedures. May be called upon to assist in budget preparation and employee evaluations. Additional Functions: Actively works to improve daily processes and ensures all work meets customer requirements. Maintains a current knowledge of developments and applications of technical principles, theories, and concepts in assigned field of expertise. Perform other duties as assigned.
