JOB DUTIES: Support Jackson Operation’s lean initiatives through the alignment, leadership, facilitation of lean Continuous Improvement efforts and events. Using lean methods (like Value stream mapping,
time studies, and work observations) work with the business teams and business management to identify opportunities and collect data to quantify waste. Work with business teams and business management to eliminate waste through appropriate lean activities (CI Time, Problem Solving, KATA Improvements, and Kaizen Events).
Train and coach lean principles, tools and methods to all levels. Support the sustainment of Lean management through efforts like: Policy Deployment, Strategy alignment, goal setting and tracking, visual management, LDMS, Lean Office. Provides day to day direction of continuous improvement technicians in assembly. BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial,
Manufacturing, Mechanical, related engineering/ engineering technology, or related Business discipline required.
Preferred five years of experience in a lean manufacturing environment to acquire sufficient background and technique to perform job responsibilities. Ability to provide leadership for change and continuous improvement

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation & Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design of large-scale complex municipal automation control systems. Your expertise in analyzing and interpreting contract plans and specifications will be crucial in creating project electrical schematics for control panels, instrumentation, networking/telemetry, motor control centers, power distribution panels, and various wiring diagrams.
Additionally, you will develop comprehensive control narratives to ensure the intended operation of the entire control system. Your support during the manufacturing process and commitment to exceptional
customer service will be vital to our success. Position Responsibilities: Read and interpret contract plans and specifications to create project electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Develop control narratives for the proper operation of the control system Provide design-related support to the control panel shop during the manufacturing process Offer exceptional service and support to customers during construction and post-commissioning activities Diagnose errors in specifications or technical problems and determine appropriate solutions Produce accurate and timely electrical CAD drawings Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) for required parts Follow all company procedures and protocols, collaborating
