In the Process Engineer position you will be responsible for providing continual process improvement through data based decisions. Process improvements will be accomplished through identification of the key critical parameters and then working to control and reduce the variation.

process improvement tools including statistical process control, process mapping, control charts, design of experiments, LEAN manufacturing waste elimination studies, process capability studies, development and implementation of control plans and FMEA’s.
Define and develop process opportunities to reduce costs and to maximize productivity. Create link between operational requirements and material supplier capabilities. Support all facets of Operations with emphasis on improving productivity through higher efficiencies, reduced scrap, and optimized labor. Define key critical parameters and develop plans to control and improve. Provide data based recommendations to both management and cross
functional teams. Acquire needed information with limited budget.
Work cross-departmentally to achieve results in a team environment. Support day to day activities in manufacturing operations while working longer term projects. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: B. S. in Engineering, Science or Technology. Experience: 3+ years relevant work experience. Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to develop working relationships on all levels. Demonstrated ability to work on multiple high priority projects in a high-speed environment. (Multi-tasking, Time management). Ability to work proficiently with electronic databases and to write Queries.
Ability to learn new databases or other software. Working knowledge of intermediate statistics, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE). Analytical, problem solving, and information gathering skills. Advanced computer skills including MS Office. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with or exposure to non-woven processes. Project management skills. Six Sigma training. Experience working in a LEAN manufacturing environment. Experience in a c GMP compliant manufacturing environment. WORKING CONDITIONS Travel Requirements: Infrequent Travel.
Key Relationships: Senior Process Engineer. Operations, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance & Planning, Scheduling. Other departments as needed. The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $102,000. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
