Experienced Module Development Engineer capable of developing processes to meet the needs of next generation semiconductor devices in Silicon Photonics, EMIB, and/or Advanced packaging technologies. Defines and implements new processes and/or improves existing processes to meet process technology needs.
Technical owner of characterization data methodology, analysis techniques, and recipe setup for quality control to optimize yield. Defines and implements project road maps, quality control (defects), failure analysis, and testing methodologies to meet customer demands. Module Development Engineers are responsible for leading process development research enabling manufacture

Work effectively with the equipment supplier to identify shortcomings, propose, and evaluate hardware modification to mitigate issues. They will be expected to partner with area engineers, technicians, integration, SGL (Shift Group Leader), and management in order to enable development commitments for their aligned tech node. Work to gain in-depth knowledge of their materials, process, and equipment to meet quality, reliability,
cost, yields, and product development timelines.
BKM (best known method) writing/documentation: ex. preventative maintenance procedures, error recoveries. Processing techniques, materials, and metrology relevant to discipline of specialty. Development of novel (new) process recipes. Drive improvements on quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability/capability, productivity and safety/ergonomic over variables such as material, method, equipment, environment, and operating personnel. Define and establish flow, procedures, and equipment configuration for the module. Train production/receiving process engineers, engineering, and manufacturing technicians for transfer to other factories.
Transfer process to high volume manufacturing and provide support in new factory startup as well as install and qualification of the new production lines. Experience in data analysis and statistical process control. The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry or an equivalent field, and at least 5 + years of industry experience with the following skills/experience: In-depth knowledge and practical experience with lithography process, scanners or steppers, photoresist tracks, Registration and CD modulation, etc.

Writing specifications for materials and equipment in a clear, concise manner. Anticipating information needed and taking the necessary action to obtain it. Preparing detailed engineering designs in accordance with good engineering practice, including cost estimates and schedules, and in compliance
with all applicable codes, regulations, and restrictions. Organizing, scheduling, and directing the work of others so as to make the most efficient use of personnel and the allotted budget.
Efficiently utilizing various company resources to accomplish the intended work. Directing and supervising, checking, and assuming responsibility for all work done under his/her direction, including Engineers and Associates, Designers, Drafters, and Technicians for which the Project Engineer is the Engineer of Record. Coordinating work with that of other designers, architects, estimators, purchasing personnel, management, etc. involved in the project. Completing work on time and within the allotted budget and resource estimate.
Marketing company services to current and potential clients. Participating in business development activities, providing completed project write-up's, and updated resume information as requested. Following company policies and procedures regarding safety and quality. Coordinates the participation of personnel on projects for which the Project Engineer is the lead discipline for multiple discipline projects. Minimum Requirements A bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering from an accredited institution. Registration as a Professional Engineer.
Registration as an SE a plus. A minimum of ten plus years of engineering experience. Demonstrated capability to perform at this level. Proficiency with MS Office Suite, industry standard design and analysis software, Auto CAD and Revit experience The ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Must be willing to work flexible schedules and overtime as needed by the department needs. Working within an Agile based process, the person in this role will be responsible for developing data driven solutions for incident operations and national security events using products such as Esri Dashboard, Web App Builder (WAB), Survey 123, Field Maps, and Story Maps.
In addition, this role will provide system management support of an Arc GIS Enterprise that entails troubleshooting Esri application deployment and implementing IT solutions to provide stability of the systems.
