True North K12 Learning operates out of the Adeline Wright Graham Boys Girls Club in Schenectady which is a newly constructed, state of the art, facility located in Schenectady, NY. Our program hours are 8:30am to 1:30pm Monday through Friday, following the Schenectady City Schools Academic Calendar and candidates may choose to work on a full-time basis (25 hours per week) or part-time basis as a job share.
The rate of pay is $30-$40 per hour depending on enrolled students and candidate qualifications. Qualifications and Responsibilities: NYS Teaching Certification or working towards NYS Certification. Non-NY Teaching Certifications will also
be considered. Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) Training or experience is preferred. Experience working with children with Special and/or Social Emotional Needs is a must.
Ability to build rapport with students and think creatively. Excellent communication skills. Patience, creativity and tolerance. This position is a sub-contractor position and does not include benefits such as health insurance.
